Here’s a bit of History about the Building.
The building was built in the 1880s. Its first life was as a 4 or 5 story hotel.
It remained as a hotel until some time in the teens of 1900 when it burned down.
It was subsequently purchased and rebuilt by the Denver Sanitary Laundry Company and remained in operation for many decades. The giant boiler plate for the laundry can be seen in the back of the building and will become part of the design of the last residential condo when it is completed.
Some of the original support beams rough cut in the entrance hallway and in the ceiling are from the original building. There are newer posts in unit 101 that the laundry put in the 1920.
