If you’ve been waiting for a lot with trees and close to the front entrance of Ranch of the Rockies, wait no more. These two lots, consisting of five acres, have tall pines primarily on two acres and still more pines scattered across the other three acres. The terrain is rolling and sloping with several good building sites. The HOA allows camping on the property from April 1 until November 1. A RV dump station, a RV Storage area, horse pastures, stables, riding arena, dog run with adjacent picnic pavilion, hiking trails are all available to HOA members. The HOA’s augmentation program includes a 25 acre reservoir, Buffalo Creek Reservoir, that allows watering of horses from the wells in the Ranch and a recreational area – fishing – for members and their quests. The roads in the Ranch are maintained by Park County. The area is enjoyed by outdoor enthusiast for fishing, hunting, hiking, 4-wheeling in Pike and San Isabel National Forests. Denver is about two hours to the northeast and Colorado Springs about 1 1/2 hours east. Buena Vista, approximately 30 minutes away, is known for white water rafting on the Arkansaw River and for shopping and dining out. Come check it out.
