Last chance! This custom-built mountain retreat is designed for you and your loved ones to make memories and connect with nature. From the moment you enter the spacious foyer, a towering wall of glass becomes your window on nature, immediately drawing you to expansive views of Coal Creek Canyon, airplane views of the High Plains and the city lights beyond. At an elevation of 9,000 feet, this modified timber-frame home offers soundproofing, energy efficiency and high-speed internet access; perfect for anyone working remotely and wanting a low-energy footprint. Designers focused on accessibility with a main level primary suite with a vaulted ceiling. Two more bedrooms plus a spacious office are on the upper floor. The walk-out level basement features lots of windows to bring light to your finishing touches whether it’s a media room, another bedroom or a large play area. The oversized two-car garage contains plenty of space for all your outdoor gear and toys. With no natural-gas price volatility to worry about, this all-electric house utilizes United Power’s time-of-day system for even more cost savings. Additionally, it features UV blocking Hurd windows, a high-efficiency water heater, and a brand new impact/hail resistant roof. During the winter, the eastern and southern-facing windows gather sunlight to make the home bright while the high-efficiency fireplace warms the home. This mountain escape offers quick access to the office, slopes, and your favorite breweries, restaurants and shops. Only minutes away from Golden Gate Canyon State Park, James Peak and Indian Peaks Wilderness areas. Sip your coffee during cool summer mornings as you experience the quiet of the neighborhood and warmth of the sunrise.
